Almond Brittle

Collect Christmas tins and fill ‘em with almond brittle for your friends or relatives.

Ingredients:
1 cup Slivered almonds
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar

Directions:
1. Line a 13”x 9” cake pan with foil, butter the foil and set aside.
2. in a non-stick skillet, combine all ingredients over medium heat until they come to a boil and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes stirring constantly
3. When mixture turns a golden brown and begins to stick together, pour into pan and work quickly!
4. Spread evenly, cool and break into pieces.
Can also be made with cashews.
