And the name is…

We’ve named the deer that Jim bought at the garage sale. I really liked many of the names you guys suggested. Bucky was a good one, but there’s already 2 guys named Buck in our northern neighborhood. Target and Crash-Test were goodies too. We kinda have a NASCAR theme going when it comes to naming the critters. The two bucks that visit are called Dale and Dale Jr., and there’s Rusty our iron guard dog. So we decided to call the deer Kenny (after that goofy Kenny Wallace). And partly because the name of the company that makes it is McKenzie. The antlers can be removed so it can look like either a buck or a doe. If the antlers are off, it will be a she and her name will be Jenny. Now aren’t ya glad that’s all settled?

Kenny/Jenny is made to be a bow hunting practice target, but it will be anything but a target once it gets to our cabin. It conveniently breaks down for easy storage and transporting. I Googled these things and WOW they don’t give them away. Jim got a good buy on Kenny/Jenny.

Tomorrow we’ll be on the road again. Not a major road trip like the last time. This time it will be the direct route with a stop for breakfast and maybe a quick stop at Bargain Bills. Adios!
