Boring!

We came back home yesterday so Jim could go to another eye doctor appointment today. It’s been the same drill as every other time…laundry, mail, bills and groceries. They’re all done. Tomorrow the DirecTV guy comes to install a new dish and receivers. Our 10 year old Sony equipment is out-dated or not working anymore. I think we got our monies worth though. We’ll have the same set-up as we’ve got at the cabin.

I do have some pictures to share from last week when we played tourists and took another trip up the North Shore of Lake Superior. This time, we were actually able to see the lake! It was a hot day, but as they say, it was cooler by the lake. Molly loved cooling off in the big water!

As long as Molly got to cool off, we thought we should too. We stopped at the brewpub in Superior, had supper, a pint and listened to live music. Not bad considering it was on a weekday and during happy hour.

We’ll be home for about a week then back to the peace and quiet of the Northland. We left the trail cam up again, so it’ll be interesting to see what we missed when we were gone.
